The problem
Campus life is scattered: events live in a dozen group chats, club activities on paper flyers, and interesting places in word of mouth. There's no single view that answers the simple question, "what's going on near me right now?"
The approach
- Map-first discovery. Built on the Google Maps API, the app anchors every event and place to a pin, so browsing campus activity feels like exploring a map rather than scrolling a feed.
- Lightweight front end. React with Tailwind CSS keeps the interface fast and consistent, deployed on Netlify.
- Built as a team. Developed collaboratively as a group project, and presented at MadCokers' end-of-year symposium.
